  • Solich Caddie & Leadership Academy

For older kids, Denver-adjacent Common Grounds Golf Course has a wonderful opportunity for kids who have completed their 8th grade year to participate in the Caddie & Leadership Academy.  This is a two-year program where kids get the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of caddying and are then placed into a caddie program in the Denver Metro Area. Need-based grants are available! This is a great opportunity to learn a skill with a pathway for paid work.

  • Mini Golf

A fun way to get the littles excited about golf is a family mini-golf outing. Here are a couple of my favorite places:

Adventure Golf: I love adventure golf. It reminds me of the classic mini-golf places my family goes to at the beach on the East coast. Experience 54 holes of miniature golf fun including water and fire effects, a pirate ship battle and there is even an erupting volcano!

Aqua-Golf: Kids (and their grownups) love Aqua Golf’s 36-holes of miniature golf complete with water hazards and sand traps. The clubhouse and patio are a great place to host your kiddos next birthday party. An added bonus? Since Wellshire Golf Course closed its driving range in 20?? Aqua Golf is the has the only driving range where you can hit balls into the water - thus the name!
